Does this dash cam record when my car is parked and turned off?
Yes! Our dash cam features a 24-hour Parking Monitor. To use this feature, the dash cam needs to be connected to your car's battery using a dedicated Hardwire Kit (Free dashcam with purchase on the official website). Once hardwired, it will automatically record any bumps or collisions while your car is parked, without draining your car battery thanks to its low-voltage protection.
How clear is the 4K video quality at night? Can it read license plates?
The Redtiger F7N-A is equipped with the industry-leading Sony STARVIS 2 sensor. This provides ultra-clear 4K (front) resolution with Super Night Vision. It effectively balances light and dark areas, ensuring license plates and road signs are clearly readable even in low-light conditions or completely dark roads.
Is it difficult to install the front and rear dash cam by myself? Do I need a professional?
Not at all! Most of our customers install the dash cam themselves within 20-30 minutes. The package includes a trim tool and detailed instructions to help you easily hide the wires behind your car's interior trim. You simply plug it into your car's cigarette lighter. For the rear camera, you can easily mount it inside your rear windshield.
Do I have to manually delete videos when the SD card is full?
No manual deletion is needed. The dash cam features Seamless Loop Recording, which means it will automatically overwrite the oldest unprotected videos with the newest ones when the memory card is full. However, if the G-sensor detects a collision, that specific video will be locked and will not be overwritten. (We recommend using a U3 class MicroSD card, up to 512GB).
Can I view and download the dash cam footage directly to my smartphone?
Yes! The F7N-A comes with built-in Wi-Fi. You can easily connect the dash cam to our free Redtiger App on your iOS or Android phone. From the app, you can view real-time footage, playback locked videos, and quickly download evidence directly to your phone to share with your insurance company or the police.
Will this dash cam survive extreme heat in the summer or freezing winters?
Yes, it is built to withstand extreme weather. Instead of a traditional lithium battery, this dash cam uses a built-in Supercapacitor. This makes it highly heat-resistant and safe to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -4°F to 149°F (-20°C to 65°C), significantly extending the lifespan and reliability of the device.

Plugged it in, switched it on, and watched it proudly display the REDTIGER logo… then go black… then do it all over again. It’s been doing this on repeat, apparently convinced that showing me the logo is the same thing as recording a journey. If this is REDTIGER’s new brand-awareness feature, it’s working. As a dash cam, not so much.
These are preliminary tests. On a moonless night, you can’t even read the large road signs with the names of towns; license plates are out of the question. The parking monitoring feature, which is activated by the G-sensor, wakes up the camera, but it remains in normal mode (not emergency mode) and does not turn off; to turn off the camera after it’s been triggered by an impact, you need to connect the ACC power and then disconnect it. Obviously, the feature is unusable. The software version is F7NA_V1.0.55_20260706.

Die Red Tiger F7NA ist nicht übel. Eine Dashcama kann ja nützlich bei einem fremdverschuldeten Unfall sein. Die Parküberwachung lasse ich weg, meiner meinung nach eine sinnfreie Ausgabe. Der Bereich seitlich des Fahrzeugs an den Fahrzeugtüren wird nicht abgedeckt. WIFi zu Android Handy läuft tadellos. Die App ist auch relativ gut. Die Red Tiger App für Windows funktioniert auch. Bedienung über die Buttons an der Unterseite der Cam ist relativ einfach u. meist die bessere Lösung. Die Bildqualität vorn und hinten ist relativ gut. Leider reagiert die Dashcam auf Sprachbefehle (auf Englisch) sehr unwillig. Die müssen oft mehrmals laut gerufen/wiederholt werden. Aus meiner Sicht das einzige, aber auch eklatanteste Manko. Man sollte vorher die Kabelverlegung abchecken. Die Verlegung lt. Schema ist nur ein Vorschlag, das, je nach Kfz, weitaus besser umgesetzt werden kann. Die Klebepats der Kebesticker u. der Back-Cam sind wertig. Die sehr gute Saughalterung der Front-Cam reicht iaR völlig aus. Für den aufgerufenen Preis kein schlechtes Produkt.
Leicht anzubringen und leicht verständliche Handhabung.

Zusammen mit dem Hardwire-Kit hat man alles was man braucht. Bildqualität und genereller Funktionsumfang sind top! Was mich allerdings von fünf Sternen abhält ist die Einschränkung der Fahrerassistenzsysteme. Entweder alles an oder alles aus. Die Kollisionswarnung ist mir persönlich deutlich zu empfindlich (auf niedrig eingestellt) und würde ich deshalb gerne deaktivieren. Das lässt sich einzeln aber eben nicht machen. Zwei Lösungen: Die Möglichkeit die Empfindlichkeit per Firmwareupdate noch feiner einstellen zu können oder, ebenfalls per FW-Update die einzelnen Funktionen separat deaktivierbar zu machen. Die dritte Option ist beides zeitgleich.

Leider ist der Parkmodus bei 2 Kameras trotz ordnungsgemäßer Verkabelung und Einstellung nicht abschaltbar! Es erfolgt ständig eine Aufzeichnung. Dieser Fehler sollte zukünftig werden!

I am very disappointed. I bought your camera mainly for the voice control feature, but this function is so poor that the camera is practically useless to me. Out of fifty attempts using a voice command, I might succeed once or twice. It is a pity; unfortunately, I cannot recommend this camera to anyone.
Je n'ai pas pu utilisé la dashcam, car sa caméra arrière n'est pas étanche. Cela n'est pas bien signalé sur le site, et j'ai du retourner le produit. Ma note concerne donc la mauvaise information du site web, plutôt que la dashcam F7NA. J'ai donc pris la F7N avec caméra arrière étanche. Utilisation OK, et un support technique au top qui a répondu avec précisions à mes questions. Cordialement.
