How do I turn on "NiteGuard™" on my F17 Elite?
To activate NiteGuard™ on the F17 Elite, you first need to connect the camera using the hardwire kit, then switch to "Time-lapse Recording" under "Parking Monitoring".
Note: NiteGuard™ Technology is only available for the front camera.
What is the "Full Night Colour" of F17 Elite?
F17 Elite's Full Night Colour represents a cutting-edge innovation in imaging technology.
This feature uses advanced image sensors and intelligent processing algorithms to deliver high-definition colour images in environments with extremely low or near-zero light.
Unlike traditional night vision cameras that rely on infrared illumination (which produces monochrome footage), the Full Night Colour system enables daylight-like colour recording in conditions as low as 0.1 lux through three key technologies: ultra-sensitive sensors and specialised AI ISP chips.
Compared with conventional colour night vision solutions, this system maintains ultra-high-definition clarity similar to daytime recording, capturing nighttime scenes with vivid colour accuracy and sharp detail.
Does the Full Night Colour work on all three channels of the F17 Elite?
No. Only the cabin camera supports Full Night Colour.
What does the Hardwire Kit do? Do I have to install it?
Installing the Hardwire Kit is required to activate the parking monitoring function. If the Hardwire Kit is not installed, parking monitoring will not operate.
If installation feels difficult, you may choose to visit a car service centre or mechanic for professional installation.
We strongly recommend installing the Hardwire Kit so you can make full use of all the features of the F17 Elite dash cam.
Can I install the rear camera of F17 Elite outside the car?
No. The rear camera of the F17 Elite is not waterproof, so it should be installed inside the vehicle, usually on the rear windscreen.
Do I need to purchase additional memory cards?
Your purchase includes a REDTIGER industrial-grade 128GB TF card at no additional cost.
